1 Grated Coconut

Fresh Grated Coconut from market. |
We managed to get freshly grated coconut from the wet market and it costs only $1.60! We didn't want to get those instant ones because you never know what kind of ingredients they add to keep the coconut 'fresh' on the shelves for months.

Notes
1. Never add water into the rice, after adding the coconut milk. It will reduce the fragrance of the rice.
2. Nasi Lemak Rice is fine if it's dry. Too wet will not make the nasi lemak rice tasty. Hence, 3 cups of rice requires 6 cups of coconut milk.
3. Wash the Pandan leaves thoroughly.
